Humanitarian Support

The CUPE National Executive Board approved a special contribution of $20,000 to six New Brunswick organizations providing direct support to the communities most devastated by the spring floods: Good Samaritan Food Bank; Chipman Community Centre; Greener Village Community Food Centre; Oromocto Food Bank; Hampton Food Basket & Clothing Centre; and River Valley Food Bank.

CUPE 3433 MASA Executive and Trustees

Elections were held on May 3, 2018 to elect members to serve on the executive and with the trustees.   Please note that the Communications Officer position is now vacant.  There will be a by-election for that position during our fall meeting as per our bylaws.

Mount Allison, CUPE Local 3433 reach new collective agreement

Mount Allison University and CUPE Local 3433 have ratified a new four-year collective agreement.

Our sincere and heartfelt thanks go to the Negotiating Team (Margaret Ann Esparza-Lee, Phil Cormier, Kellie Mattatall, Paul Del Motte, Roxie Ibbitson, and Lori MacKay) for all their hard work.

Collective bargaining update

To all CUPE 3433 members:

Representatives of the Mount Allison Staff Association and Mount Allison University are pleased to jointly announce that a tentative agreement has been reached on a new contract. We extend our thanks to all individuals who participated in the negotiation process.

The next step in this process is ratification of the agreement, which is expected to be completed in January.
