Thanks to the expanded pension committee who has worked diligently since 2013, we have researched, discussed and pushed to secure a situation where we protect and ensure a sustainable defined pension plan for our members, insuring dignity and security upon retirement.

This responsibility was not taken lightly and after much deliberations a vote was taken and it was decided to bring this to the Executive and to the membership.

With the support of the Executive I would like to recommend that members accept these changes and vote yes.

Voting will occur at the R.P. Bell Library:

• Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 1 pm-4 pm
• Friday, October 2, 2015 from 9 am-4 pm
